This product is made from real leaven (mix of organic flour + fermented water), which is then dried at low temperature before a little yeast is added to help kick-start the raising process.
Spelt leaven is made with 100% of spelt wheat. It brings colour and wholesome flavour to home baked bread. We recommend that you use T80 flour with spelt leaven, or spelt flour for a 100% spelt loaf.
One packet of 100g of organic spelt leaven is enough to prepare 2 kg of wheat flour.
