The Gascogne is an exceptional reserve of micro-terroirs, the proof is here with friendly and full wine. Typical of Gascony it this wine is the fruit of marriage between roundness and softness of Merlot, Tannat and generosity.
Grapes: Merlot, Tannat
Earth flooring made from a mixture of gray clay and limestone. Peyrusquet particular soil (clay-like soil, stony and shallow)
Winemaking and Ageing: Fermentation assembled varieties. Fermentation is traditionally for 15 days. Maceration pre-fermentation cold. In order to let the terroir and grape breeding speak not done in wood, but in tanks and lasts one year. P>
Tasting Notes: A very expressive wine reveals aromas of red fruits and spices. The fruity nose promise was confirmed in the palace, and that appear roundness and flexibility. P>
Food pairing: This young wine has already attracted attention. It goes very well with meats, aged cheeses bit, black Bigorre pork, chicken stew, grilled red meat, poultry roasted and marinated meat cooked a la plancha. p>
