Tasting : nice yellow color, yellow fruits (mango and peach) and citrus fruits aromas, flowery notes, mellow and smart... this Grand Cru Riesling is among the best of its class.

Origins : Muenchberg means the "monk mountain". Many centuries ago, monks first cultivated vineyards in this South orientated valley at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

Aging and matching : fresh and pulpous when young, it will express its minerality when it becomes older (you can keep it up to 15 and 20 years). Serve fresh (10°C) with foie gras or Roquefort.

Composition : Alsace wine - Riesling Grand Cru - 12.5% vol.
