Pouilly Fumé du Domaine Serge Dagueneau et filles
Tasting : the pouilly fumé is a sweet dry white wine (made of quince, hazelnut, exotic fruits aromas). More sweety when new, it becomes soapy and thick when aging.
Origin : when well matured, Sauvignon's grapes are covered from a fine bloom, hence the name of smoked pouilly.
Matching : serve cool (12°C) as apéritif, with shell-fishes, grilled fishes or fishes in sauce, white meats or cheeses.
