Savoury puff pastry biscuit - perfect served with champagne

The Maison Fossier prides itself on its traditions, its know-how and its passion for good food.

The « Salé » of Reims is the perfect biscuit to nibble whilst sipping a glass of champagne.

Famous for its sweet pink biscuits, the Maison Fossier has created this buttery biscuit as a savoury alternative. The « Salé » of Reims has a slight taste of cheese at the front of the mouth, followed by a more persistent touch of yeast. Very slightly savoury, it nevertheless retains a subtly sweet flavour, due to its fine striation of Pink biscuit powder. Developed with the help and advice of oenologists to ensure that the biscuits really are the perfect nibble to serve with the bubbly.

Composition : Flour, butter, rose biscuit mix 2 % (sugar, flour, eggs, egg whites, raising agent : ammonium hydrogen carbonate, flavouring, natural coloring E 120), salt 2 %, devitalized and dehydrated rye leaven, emmental cheese, malt, devitalized and dehydrated complete corn leaven, flavouring, rosemary extract, natural colouring : cochineal.
