Set in the middle of Los Rios province, the Hacienda Iara produces a plantation of great vintage cocoa, of the variety Nacional Arriba, which has been rewarded by the quality award “Fine grande”. In this plantation, the fragile cacao trees grow on an especially fertile soil, taking on exotic fruit scents such as passion fruit, papaya, and the well-known variety of the Ecuadorian banana. They give the beautiful cocoa fruit and pods an inimitable, highly perfumed flavour. An organic product of the highest quality.

The Nacional Arriba cocoa bean is produced exclusively in Ecuador, and only 2% of the worldwide production comes from this great vintage.

The inimitable and pure taste of the real cocoa bean. Handmade, these beans coated with chocolate are rolled in cocoa powder, and then caramelized.

You will detect a hint of exotic, spicy ginger, which, combined with the fine sugar coating, produces a soft but powerful flavour.
