Created under Louis XIII’s reign by the “officier de bouche” of the marshal Duke of Praslin, the roasted and caramelized almonds have been called “Praslines”, and became very popular at the French court. This “officier de bouche” then moved to Montargis with the trade name the “Confiserie du Roi” (“King’s Confectioner’s”) which was changed to “Mazet Confiseur” (“Mazet Confectioner”) in 1903. The recipe for the “Praslines” still remains a secret and the speciality ranges of “Mazet Confiseur” draw their inspiration from the original recipe.

Slightly roasted and subtly caramelized almonds coated with fine milk chocolate with a touch of caramel. Finely rolled in the nougat, the almonds are coated with milk chocolate and then lightly decorated with sugar. These delicacies, powdered with white, have such sweetness, they charm all palates.

Composition : Sugar, almonds, cocoa butter, milk 26% of fat, cocoa mass, milk with 0% fat, acacia gum, soy lecithin.
