Dill has a hot and slightly acid taste. Although it is less strong, its taste reminds us of caraway. Dill’s smell is fresh and spicy at the same time. Dill enhances the taste of soups, stews, pastries, bread… We can combine it with aniseed, caraway, coriander, parsley, cumin, and fennel. But it is not recommended to be used with garlic, chives, cooked tomato and olive oil.
Dill is known to calm down digestive troubles and stimulates breast milk production for young mothers.
Suggestions: Cook it with fish, marinade, court-bouillon, North European food, Russian food.
