Well-known by famous cooks, simple to use to be successfully made by everyone, this ready-to-make blend allows you to prepare a gingerbread recipe with the authentic taste.

Put into the blend the ingredients you like: such as candied peel of citrus fruits or walnuts, bake it and just be delighted by this ginger bread with its golden colour, its blended flavours and its subtle taste of cinnamon.

Now just show your imagination: gingerbread toasts with foie gras, gingerbread risotto and gingerbread with apples… Here is a recipe to tempt you:

Gingerbread pudding with raisins

Ingredients : 1 gingerbread of 500g (prepared with the powder “La recette de Guillemette”), 300g of currants and sultanas (both if it’s possible), 1 small glass of rum, ½ litre of milk, 3 eggs, 3 soupspoons of sugar, 2 untreated oranges, 40g of butter.

  1. Let the raisins soak in the rum.
  2. Slice the gingerbread.
  3. Boil the milk, allow it to cool down. Pour it on the beaten eggs with sugar. Finely grate the peel of the oranges. Grease a charlotte mould widely with butter and put a handful of drained raisins in the bottom.
  4. Soak the gingerbread slices in the egg mix and pile it in the mould and alternate with raisins and orange peel.
  5. Pour in the rest of egg cream and cook it for 2 hours in a bain-marie (or 30 minutes with a pressure cooker, put 2 cm of water in the bottom)
  6. Let it cool down before turning out of the mould. Serve it slightly warm with vanilla cream.
