After 16 years in first-fill American oak casks, Nadurra is bottled at natural cask strength to deliver a rich and rewarding taste. By omitting modern chill filtering, we preserved intact the full flavor of the malt, uniquely capturing the original character of George Smith’s Distillery: the pure expression of a great tradition. Since this is whisky in its most natural state – with nothing added or taken away – you may detect a slight haze when adding water or ice.

Tasting notes

Colour: bright gold (a gentle haze may appear when water is added).
The nose: a fresh summer-like medley of floral and sweet spice aromas enhanced by gentle notes of toasted oak.
The taste: smooth and silky with the sweetness of soft fruits and honeyed flowers balanced by a dry, oak finish of considerable length with notes of ginger and hazelnuts.
