The Franquette walnut is one the 4 varieties of the high control quality walnuts of Périgord, land including the departments of Dordogne, Lot, Corrèze and Charente. The walnut halves generously fill their oblong shell and can be easily separated. It is surprising in its slight taste of hazelnut and its delicate aroma.

At the farm of " Bernoux ", Mr and Mrs Tronche attach importance to strictly following the principles of organic agriculture. These walnuts are certified "AB" by Ecocert.
