Calissons are traditional sweetmeats from Aix en Provence in Southern France. Léonard Parli is one of the very best producers of calisson, and this spread perfectly captures all the flavour of the original sweet. Perfect spread on bread, it is also delicious when used in sweet pies, tarts and cakes, or stirred into yoghurt. Made using only natural ingredients, using 44% ground almonds and 43% candied fruit (apricots and melons).
