The Marbot walnut is one the 4 varieties of the high control quality walnuts of Périgord, land including the departments of Dordogne, Lot, Corrèze and Charente. Its earliness and its large size make it the favourite variety of fresh walnut. Inside its tender shell, it contains extremely white halves of walnut with a seductive crunch, with the taste of fresh almond. The Marbot, can also be found dried, giving a walnut half with multiple finely veined convolutions. It is delicious in your winter cakes.

At the farm of " Bernoux ", Mr and Mrs Tronche attach importance to strictly following the principles of organic agriculture. These walnuts are certified "AB" by Ecocert.
