Beans are a kind of leguminous plants as well as pea or lentils. It is thus rich in plant proteins (amino acid essential) and in fibres.

It is a common dish in Eastern countries. This recipe made by Florelis in the French Gers will let you taste nicely cooked beans. They are just melting and flavored with a slightly spiced sauce. You can serve them with a piece of lamb.
