A 24 years old Single Malt of a very rare degree of perfection.

The Orkney islands on the northern coast of Scotland benefit from a quite vivid climate. Strong winds, crashing waves and rain everyday ! But, for more than 200 years, people have decided to make there their own whisky. And we must recognize that they do it pretty well.

They have the chance to have this underground Cattie Maggie spring with its pure water coming from nobody knows where… and this Hobbister Moor peat. It is a first choice young and herby peat with clumps of heather.

The whisky is then selected and botteled by Signatory after an optimum maturing process in sherry casks. Signatory is known as one of the best independant bottlers in the whisky world. In the mouth, you taste an outstanding whisky with malt, peat and smoke notes. Matured up to 24 years old, it has reached a very rare degree of perfection.

This whisky has been selected by Christian Chavignon in le Relais Saint Roch, a whisky expert known for its 800 whiskies list.
