The Benriach distillery was founded in 1898. It has a long and tumultuous story with many changes of ownership. It even closed from 1900 to 1965.

Located in the Speyside (Scotland), it has the particularity to have its own malting floors. Among its different whiskies, this 20 years old single malt scotch is certainly its best.

Tasting note : well balanced nose, floral with spicy, nutty, honey and vanilla notes. An amber colour with golden hints. In the mouth, this Benriach is rather round with still honey and vanilla notes and other fruits (apple), dry fruits and spices hints.

This whisky has been selected by Christian Chavignon in le Relais Saint Roch, a whisky expert known for its 800 whiskies list.
