Black peppercorns (India)
A black pepper we have selected for its aromatic and pungent qualities.
Black pepper (pipper nigrum) is one of the most widely spread spice in the world. In Europe, it would have been first introduced by Alexander The Great. When ripening, pepper fruits turn yellowish-red. Harvested close to ripeness and dried, pepper fruits soon turn black.
Tasting : pungent and aromatic. For a better tasting, it is recommended to grind the peppercorns just before use.
